From the supplier: Cuban and some Haitian refugees admitted to the US can participate in a 18-month program designed specifically to help them integrate into the workforce. Miami-Dade Community College began offering the Guantanamo Refugee Education and Training program soon after US Attorney General Janet Reno okayed their immigration in 1995. They receive intensive training in vocational English, choice of training in 12 vocational areas and related technologies and skills, and job placement services.
